Gordon Andrews was a partner with the firm of Florance, Gordon and Brown. He began practicing law in 1946. He was general counsel and director of Virginia First Savings and Loan Association and secretary-treasurer of Green Oil Co.
He was graduated from the University of Richmond and its T.C. Williams School of Law.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Duvall Andrews; a son, Gordon H. Andrews, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Turner Andrews Cox; and a sister, Mrs. Frances Nelson, all of Richmond,
